Dionne Mendez & Amanda Rendall Introduce Babestation (2009)

Dionne Mendez and Amanda Rendall - Babestation 2009

It’s just after midnight on a warm (and later sunny) Sunday 20th September 2009, as Dionne Mendez and Amanda Rendall co-present the introduction to Babestation’s flagship Channel 33 night show. The other model working Channel 33 that night was Yvette Merriman.

Other Babestation channels active on the UK’s Freeview platform at the time included Party Girls (Channel 37), Babestation 2 (Channel 42), and Partyland (Channel 50). Other featured models on 20/9/09 comprised: Daryl Morgan and Kelly Carter (Party Girls), Megan Moore and Dani O’Neal (BS2), and Reede Fox, Lori Buckby and Elle Bailey (Partyland). Michelle Moist was the featured 3G cam girl.

Just ten days later, these channels lost their low-numbered EPG slots, moving up into the channel range of 90-99, as Freeview’s first designated adult entertainment section was created. But between 16th December 2008 and 30th September 2009, topless and occasionally fully naked content had been broadcast in the channel range of 32-50, right amid the shopping, movie and news channels. Excellent capture of male channel-flickers’ attention for Babestation, but probably not what the non-adult operators wanted on their doorstep.

Is it possible to love two women at the same time?

Are you asking that in the romantic sense, the Biblical sense, the gymnastic sense, or the postal sense?

Richard Lingham:

Love cannot be broken down into senses. It is either love, or it is not love.

I think you’ll find that’s bollocks.

No it’s not. In Romeo and Juliet, does Romeo say:

“I love you romantically and Biblically, but I’m not yet ready to commit to you postally or gymnastically?”

He does in the version I’ve got. More or less.

I’m talking about the Shakespeare version. Not the Ron Jeremy version.

How d’you know I’ve got the Ron Jeremy version?

Katie Shox:

Realistically, what other version would you have?

Ed Case:

I think you’re making highly judgemental assumptions about my appreciation of the arts, which portray me as some kind of borderline moron who would buy some kind of naked romp rather than a book.

Do you have the Ron Jeremy version or don’t you?

Yes.
